Continental League JV Championship
When: Monday April 27th
Where: Echo Park Stadium
Start Time: 10am
Entries: Unlimited
Worker Volunteers needed: We are in charge of the hurdle crew, meaning we will need to set up for the 100/110 hurdle races and the 300 hurdle races. You will receive community service hours if you are not scheduled in the meet but come out to help.

Continental League Varsity Championship
When: Saturday May 2nd
Where: Echo Park Stadium
Start Time: 8am start (weigh-ins 7:-7:45am)
Entries: 4 per event, 1 relay
Worker Volunteers needed: We are hosting this meet and will need athletes and parents to help out for many different jobs including concession stand, stadium cleanup, gate fee takers, and various other tasks. If you are not competing or are a parent available to help, please check this link to sign up. WE CURRENTLY DO NOT HAVE ANYWHERE NEAR ENOUGH VOLUNTEERS SIGNED UP TO HELP! Program Fee/Fundraising

Why: There are currently 140 athletes out for track and field this spring. As a result, we have hired 8 assistant coaches. Our team receives $100 from your initial district athletic fee (the other half goes to our AD and the district), and DCSD only provides 4 assistant coaching stipends for the spring track & field season. This means our team must come up with the additional funds to pay the remaining coaching stipends, as well as meet entry fees, equipments costs, and the other costs that pop up throughout the season
ONLY 78 FAMILIES HAVE PAID THE PROGRAM FEE! We depend on these funds to help cover our costs each season, please be sure to complete the payment if you have not already.

State 5A Rankings
In-order to qualify for state, athletes/relays must be in the top 18 in their event by the end of the regular season (May 11th). Here are the current 5A Rankings for 2024.

Speak with your event coach on Monday to know which meet you will be attending. We do NOT have a league JV meet this week but will try to place as many JV athletes in a meet as possible, unfortunately some athletes will not be competing this week.
Looking ahead... Our JV League Championship Is Monday 4/27 at 10am. All events will be offered at this meet and all non-varsity athletes will be able to compete this day. This is the last opportunity of the season to compete for JV athletes. More info will be sent out this week.

**THIS IS A STATE QUALIFYING MEET!**
When: Wednesday, April 22nd
Where: Echo Park Stadium
Start Time: 2 p.m.
Class Dismissal: Athletes competing will be dismissed at 12:00p.m. on Wednesday

If you are in a later event, you do not need to arrive hours early! Please discuss with an event coach regarding arrival times and stay in class longer if you can.
Athletes are responsible for communicating with teachers to stay on top of makeup work/tests

Entries: 4 entries per event, 1 relay

Since this is a championship meet with limited entries, we will try to get as many fr/so athletes entered into the meet but preference will be given to top performers in each event

When: Thursday April 23rd @ 2pm ****NEW DATE!*****
Where: Cherry Creek HS (Stutler Bowl)
Entries: 3 entries per event + 1 relay. Additional entries allowed for athletes that have met entry requirements (see meet information for details)

Only varsity athletes that meet the entry standards will be considered for this meet
This meet will not give any courtesy mark or measurement for field events that do not hit the minimum. Only jumpers and throwers that consistently hit the minimum will be considered

Class Dismissal: Athletes competing will be dismissed at 12:00p.m. on Thursday

If you are in a later event, you do not need to arrive hours early! Please discuss with an event coach regarding arrival times and stay in class longer if you can.

Titan Invite
When: Thursday, April 9th @ 1:45p.m.
Where: Classical Academy HS in Colorado Springs
Entries: 6 entries per track event, 5 per field event, 2 relays
Transportation: There is no bus for this meet. Please provide your own ride to and from the meet. PARKING IS EXTREMELY CHALLENGING HERE! Please factor extra time in for parking off-site and walking to the track if you will be arriving between 2:45-3:45

Please utilize the Progressive parking lot off of Voyager Parkway
(Progressive is south of the school campus, and there will be people/signage directing people to the proper parking lot). You can walk down
the trail toward the track, and they will have someone shuttling people who need rides down the hill.
Once carpool and elementary school students leave campus, there will be plenty of parking in the main lot, SW of the track. DO NOT park in the carpool lane north of the track.

Start Time: 1:45pm
Arrival Time: Be at the meet at least 90 minutes before your first scheduled event. This meet will run ahead of schedule if possible.
Early Dismissal: Athletes competing will be dismissed at 11 a.m. on Thursday.
Spectator Fee: $7 Adults, $5 seniors and children

Where: Jeffco Stadium (Lakewood)
Out-of-Class: Athletes competing on Friday will be dismissed at 11:30
Transportation: Athletes are responsible for their own transportation to and from the meet on Friday/Saturday.
Awards: Medals for 1st-3rd places
