Week 15 Notes
Racing after a full day of school is really challenging so kudos to all of our runners who competed at Arapahoe on Friday afternoon!
The coaches are aware that this is Homecoming Week and while we support all of you wanting to get involved in evening activities we don't want that to take away from training. I promise that our goal will be to get you out of practice as soon as possible every day, but plan on being at practice until 5:00 unless we tell you otherwise.
Homecoming usually brings the second wave of sickness for the season. Please do what you can to prevent sickness next week by washing your hands and getting lots of sleep. Running is hard enough, and running while sick is no fun.
MRMS had their District Meet Saturday and swept both the Boys and Girls TEAM titles! If you see any of the Middle Schoolers running around campus this week make sure you congratulate them!! We're excited to see the next generation of Vista Nation XC in a couple years.

We expect to cover all 2026 expenses with remaining money leftover which we are putting towards Coach Boele's services. To cover the remaining expenses from Coach Boele we are asking for a flat $50 donation for each athlete this fall to maintain a healthy XC budget.
*Please disregard the questions about athlete T-shirt size/Elementary School. Those questions are for the Elementary School Race registration. You can put N/A for both. Apologies for any confusion.

Here are the athletes that are currently confirmed for NXR-SW. If you do not see your name on this list please come see Brandt or Rouse this week to confirm NXR eligibility before booking flights. We want to take as many athletes as we can down to Arizona, but we need to consistent attendance at practice, consistent attendance at meets, commitment to compete at League Champs, and commitment to train through November.
