Switching to afternoon runs can screw up your routines from the summer, and may require some trial and error.

For those of you bringing an extra bag for running clothes and shoes you can drop them off in either Coach Brandt's classroom (U310) or Selle's classroom at the beginning of the day and then collect them at the end of the day.

We typically don't use the locker rooms to change out before practice. I've been even more impressed with all of our athletes logging their runs on Final Surge while you're out of town. Keep up the great work!! You'll be thanking yourself in October and November.

We will be off-campus for runs on Tuesday and Thursday again this week. We will meet in the main parking lot of both locations.

Looking ahead at the next couple weeks. We will not be holding practice on July 4th for HS athletes. Training will be in Final Surge. Get the run in on your own/with a teammate or hop in a local 5k. We are planning our first TEAM Breakfast of the summer on July 1st after practice. Keep an eye out for more info over this week.

As we get our legs back under us for training keep in mind how important your habits are the 22 hours outside of practice time. To be at our best for the XC season in October and November, good habits have to start in June and July. We were so happy to see old and new faces this week at practice. I know plenty of families are traveling, and we'll look forward to seeing everyone else once they get back into town.

Starting this week we will begin meeting off-campus twice a week for runs. We are fortunate to have excellent trail systems around Highlands Ranch (that are also flat) that we want to give the kids the chance the opportunity to run on. We do our best to keep off-campus practice within a 15-20 minute radius of Highlands Ranch.

Middle School Parents: Middle school athletes will be ready for pick-up by 8:30 every day.

High School Parents: Incoming 9th graders and newcomers to the program will be ready for pick-up by 8:30 every morning.
