Runner's Roost Spike Night
When: Friday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Where: Runners Roost Lone Tree
What: 15% off all trainers and racing spikes for the season
Who: All MVHS Track and Field Athletes

Athletes can receive the same discount at Runners Roost at anytime. Just mention that you compete for MVHS.

Spring sports registration is NOW open and will close on February 20. PLAN AHEAD!! The DCSD Physical Form can be found by toggling the "FORMS" tab at the top of this page. You can easily access the registration site by toggling the "REGISTRATION" tab at the top of this page.
PLEASE NOTE: Registration on this site is mandatory for participation in practice and tryouts for the 2021-2022 sports seasons. This includes a current physical uploaded to the Mountain Vista registration.

Heritage HS Pre-Season Outdoor Track Meet #2
When: Saturday, February 26th
Where: Heritage High School in Littleton, CO @ 9 a.m.
Registration: This year's edition will focus on mid-distance/distance events starting at 9:00 AM.

*$20 per athlete, unlimited events
*Entries due on athletic.net by 8 PM Thursday before each meet
*All events will be FAT Timing, seedings based off seed times
*All Ages welcome! (including middle school runners)
*Time Schedule will be released the week of each meet, as we have a better idea on how many heats will be needed of each event. However, here is the event order for each meet, with the first event starting at 9 AM:

Mon-(President's Day)-Run To Denver @ 8 a.m.

Run-To-Denver: Monday, February 21st
On Monday, February 21st we will be doing the Denver Breakfast Run! Afterwards we will head to Illegal Pete's on the 16th St Mall for breakfast burritos, and then take the Light Rail from downtown back to Mineral Station next to Aspen Grove. Here are the details on the 4 runs to choose from:

14 Miles: Meet at Aspen Grove Panera at 7:30 a.m.
10 Miles: Meet at Centennial Park in Englewood at 8 a.m. (See address below)
7 Miles: Meet at Centennial Park at 8 a.m., and we will transport you down the trail so that you are running the 7 mile distance.

Who: Any HS Runner that wants to try, and run 14, 10, or 4 miles, including freshman and new runners.
When: 7:30 A.M. If you are running from Aspen Grove. 8:00 a.m. if running from Centennial Park.
Bag/Gear Transport: You can load your stuff up in Dalby's car and he will transport it down to Denver for you.
Where: Centennial Park

Directions: 25 mins from MVHS. Go North on Santa Fe. Take a left on Union. The park will be down on your right off of Union
Cost: $15 should cover the cost for breakfast and your light rail ticket.
Ticket App: Please download the RTD ticket app and purchase your ticket prior to Saturday mornings run.
Parent Help:
We are looking for 2 to 3 parents to help us out to chaperone at REI/Illegal Pete's and to help drive runner's back from Mineral Station to Centennial Park once we return, if they need to get their cars. If you can help please email Coach Dalby.

Weight Room (Distance Runners) 2022
For those of you that are interested in the weight room this winter/spring here is the current weight room plan from Coach Palmer. Weight room is 100% optional, and is meant for those runners that are looking to get a little bit stronger this season. The plan will be updated every 3-4 weeks, but Coach Palmer will using the same link throughout the season.
