Cross Country Camp: Middle and High School: June 21st-27th
Time: 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday this week
Where: Please meet on the track of MVHS at 7 a.m. Monday to Wednesday
Thursday Practice: We will meet off campus on Thursday at Redstone Park. Please meet by the shelter house/soccer fields near the duck pond at 7 a.m.
Friday Practice: No practice on Friday due to the coaching staff being at the state track and field championships. Come out to cheer!

Final State declarations will be made at the end of the day on June 21st once heat sheets are released.
State Meet Track and Field Schedule
Uniform Return
When: At the end of the season Banquet on Saturday, June 27th
How: Wash your uniform before returning it. Please put your uniform in a Ziplock bag or a grocery bag with your name on it when you return.
Uniform Fines: Athletes that do not turn in uniforms will have an athletic fine with the office of $50 for uniform tops, and $50 for uniform bottoms that are not returned.
Banquet Information
When: Sunday June 27th at 3pm
Where: MVHS Commons (cafeteria)
Attire for Athletes: Dress-Up (dresses, nice pants, and shirts)
Time Off In-between Track and XC Summer Running
- After your last race of the season, take 2 full weeks off from running. Let your body recuperate after a long season of training and racing. Active rest is fine. You can play basketball, hike, bike, or anything else that you enjoy doing, but no running!
- After your two weeks off from running you can return to team summer practices.
- Here is a schedule to help yo determine when to start showing up for summer running:
- State Meet is your last race: Return to running on Monday, July 12th
- League Meet was your last race: Return to running on Monday, July 5th
- Liberty Bell/JV Champs was your last race: Return to running on Monday, June 28th
- Need more time than 2 weeks? Talk to the coaches about it, but nobody should return to training until they are feeling refreshed, mentally ready, and motivated to do so.
