By all accounts, it has been an extremely successful cross country season for our TEAM. We swept the league meet again, the majority of our team set new PRs, we fielded the strongest boys/girls JV/Varsity/Open program in the state of Colorado, and finally emerged as a program that proved it can be competitive on the national stage.
So what next? Where do we go from here? That's a question that the TEAM has to answer as we set new goals for the future. From the coaching staff's perspective, we hope those goals are more ambitious than they have been in the past. We hope that you set goals that are not easy to attain, but rather goals that are difficult. Goals that require consistency, commitment, and sacrifice to achieve. The goals that sometimes seem impossible to achieve are the ones that are the most rewarding to try and accomplish. These are the goals I want to see our TEAM go after! Lets set goals for the future that keep us from being complacent or average. Instead, lets strive to achieve greater things as a TEAM than we have in the past.
I am very proud of every single one of you for your dedication and commitment to the process this year. You helped us achieve goals that at times seemed impossible. Lets set more ambitious goals for the future of our TEAM, and focus on the process that will help us get there!
December Training
The next 4 weeks of training has been updated for everyone in Training Peaks. This includes the first week back from winter break when we begin to incorporate some very lite quality work into the process. Please take a look at your plan so that you know where we are headed over the course of the next month.
December training is intentionally going to be very light. Our focus is simply on maintaining your XC fitness, and gradually easing you back into the volume that you were previously at during the fall. The most important part of December running is to make sure you stay consistent, keep things easy, and that you are ready to accomplish the workouts to come during the first week of January when we return from break.
Winter Break Training/Training Peaks
We will be meeting 7 different times during winter break at 10 a.m. for those wanting to run w/ the TEAM while school is out. Please check the calendar page to see what days we are meeting.
Training Peaks is currently updated through January 1oth for every member of the TEAM. If you do not see workouts, or have any issues with your Training Peaks Plan, please email Coach Dalby.

The cost for the winter is $100 to participate, which will go to help compensate our assistant coaches for their time during the months of December, January, and February.
